I dont knwo why ya'll cant just patch it. I would never have purchased a 12 month anyway, but if I did and this happened I would be seeking a refund (if it were 12 month) because the above problem really sucks. Its a good thing AVG offers 1 month subs. I could still use PC-Tune up's other features, but because i dont NEED them, I will cause my 1 month sub to NOT renew in ***PROTEST*** Sorry AVG, you didnt think that one through very well. I will Keep with AVG Internet Security (even though I only use Firewall and AV) because it seems to work ok. So I love AVG Products even with this minor setback, but I wont be renewing my subscription for PC-Tuneup (1 Month) until this issue is resolved. Some of this inconsistencyt may be due to the fact AVG has been purchased and sold manytimesin the last decade and i think evertime the new owners imagine a different direction for AVG which of course annoy's us existing customers off no end. I can NOT find this mentioned anywhere in AVG's Documentation. This option to ONLY be able to put them to sleep is obserd. One of the main reasons I purchased a subscription to PC-Tuneup was for the ability to stop certain programs from starting at windows Start.
